Remembrance Services to remember and honour those who gave their lives in service to our country.
Friday 7 November
Tickton Primary School to attend St Pauls Church, Main Street, Tickton at 10.30am where they will read their poems sing and pray going to lay a wreath at the War Memorial at 11.00am.
Sunday 9 November
– St Pauls Church Service, Main Street, Tickton at 10.30am with wreath laying at the War Memorial at 11.00am. The Brownies will be in attendance, and the services led the Beverley Minster accompanied by a volunteer playing The Last Post.
–Representatives of the Parish Council to attend the Hull Bridge War Memorial following the Church Service to lay a wreath accompanied by members of the military and volunteer playing The Last Post.
–All Saints Church, Routh will be open to the community throughout the Remembrance period to view the beautiful display of poppies and wreaths created in honour of those who served. Please call the Church on 01964 543139 to arrange.
