New bus shelters – Routh & Tickton

Tickton & Routh Parish Council was successful in bidding for funding for two additional bus shelters in our parishes.
The new shelter on Main Street at Weel Road corner for passengers heading towards Beverley was successfully installed on Monday, 26 January 2026 as shown in the photograph below.
Due to poor weather conditions the bus shelter located on the eastbound carriageway of the A1035 at Routh was postponed and will now be installed on Thursday 12 February 2026.
Please note that ‘manned’ traffic management will be in place to support traffic flow and safety on A1035 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
